Top Corporate Logos

Corporations use their logos as a way of gaining recognition. There is nothing that stands out more in a consumer's mind that the big arches of the McDonald's sign or the easily recognizable Nike swoosh. Some of the best corporate logos are a result of the company's willingness to have them evolve over the years.

Apple

The Apple corporation and its selection of technological devices has been around since 1976. Over the years, both the company and the logo have made a lot of changes. Now, it is easily recognized by the simple 3D metallic apple which is present on so many devices around the world. It is quite the change from the original landscape scene with an ornate banner surrounding it.

Shell

The Shell Corporation has made several changes to its logo since its start in 1900. The logo has changed 10 times to come to the current simple red and yellow shell which calls to motorists in need of gas as they drive down the road. The original logo looked very life-like and was in simple black and white coloration.

BMW

BMW has pretty much stayed true to itself in regards to its logo since the beginning in 1923. It has always contained the same simple white and blue quartered circle enclosed by the black outer rim. The only time this really changed was in the 1970s and 1980s when the company added a little more flair to the design. It has since gone back to its simple beginnings.

Logos are what consumers remember when they think about a company. They are the connection they make to products. A good logo can help a company achieve great success.
